But you have every reason too, so why do you stay?

He's not one to cry, no in fact he despises when he has to cry. Because he's felt worse and didn't cry then, so why, why is it now that when his mother's so gentle and tender with him he wants to cry? It doesn't hurt him physically, but it makes his chest ache with a pain he knows all too well.

He's been so alone for far too long, but she's here now. The question is though, how long will she stay? Nothing can be eternal, not even memories. For even those slip from a person eventually whether it be mortal or god. He knows that she won't leave him, but at the same time his heart feels a dull ache that reminds him of the PAST BETRAYALS of those who said they wouldn't leave him. But against the rational and logical response he wanted to make, he decides to trust his mother's words.
