for his birthday, thea bought two guitars after doing a lot of research as well as bothering the band and trying to get information subtly from danny about his preference in acoustic guitars. she started a few months prior to his birthday to make sure she had plenty of time to paint them both.

willow painstakingly goes through her vast collection of seashells ( as well as combing through the ones she’s given her mom and grabbing a few of those ) to find the absolute best ones. it takes her a little over a week because she continuously exchanges them, wanting to make sure they’re all just right. and then she paints them all to make them extra special just for her papa. she very much enjoys whispering about their top secret project to anyone that’ll listen, nearly accidentally telling danny himself about it before stopping herself.

together they bake a rocky road cake. and then decide to make a second one just to make sure there’ll absolutely be enough for everyone. on top they put in sparkler candles when it’s time to sing happy birthday. / @dannyreese
