Tommorow...my family dog of 17 years is being put down due to poor health. We had planned to do it later on this month, but...it's gotten so bad over the past few days to the point where he can no longer walk that...we can't bear to see him in pain anymore.

I apologize for any delays in responses in or out of character that may occur because of this. I just...am going to need some time.

Alright, everyone. I've updated some pages and my theme a bit to reflect some changes! The pages that were updated are below:

Rules (MInor Updates, Mainly relating to the Graphics section)

Muse Status List (A lot of muses were moved around, and some got moved to not currently active. So, please check this out!)

I always feel a bit guilty moving characters to not currently active or their status as less active than they were before, but I know it's something I need to do for me and you guys know I don't like forcing out writing if the muse or motivtion is just not there. I take great pride in my writing, and want it to be a fun experience for both parties. It's the same thing if we end up dropping thread we are not vibing with or an ask we can't answer. So, I thank you guys in advance for your understanding.

In addition, I start my Spring Semester on Monday. This means my activity is going to go back to its usual variability. I apologize for any and all delays in responding to anything in or out of character. It's nothing personal. I just know I can get very exhausted, and this semester I'm teaching in addition to my coursework and working on personal projects so no doubt it will probably be worse. I'm prioritizing my self-care and rest for sure, so no one needs to worry.

I should be able to send asks and answer DMs pretty normally, though. I do apologize if any asks gets nomed by Tumblr. It sometimes hates the good things I want to send you guys.

Thank you all again for the support, from friends new and old! I'm going to do my best with my studies, and with my stuff here! I really enjoy writing and talking to you all, even if it isn't all the time! Know I love reading you guys' amazing work on the dash, even if the thread isn't one I'm apart of. Hello friends. I am just coming in to let you all know how I'm holding up with the personal circumstances discussed in this post. I'm doing okay. Not perfect obviously, but I am doing better than I thought I'd be. I think that's because of all the support I've had from friends, family, classmates, and my boyfriend, in addition to giving myself the proper space I needed. They all have helped me through the complex processing of my emotions, and to everyone who left messages on my previous post or in my dms, thank you all. You are all so sweet and they truly warmed my heart.

As for me, I'm doing my best to take care of myself and do some fun things between still trying to be an adult and helping my family in what ways I can as this is all different for each person. So, I'll probably do some writing and or edits here (or on one of my blogs, like any of the muse sides on @vanguardsofcray which if you all wanna see me do more fun card game action, follow those sides. Need to make YGO verses for those guys too, actually).

So, I’ve decided for my own sake to change the way I categorize muse activity. Instead of primary, secondary, and tertiary, I have now divided it into Highly Active, Somewhat Active, Plotting Dependent, and Currently Not Active. This way, it gives you all the most clear insight into what muses I’m most into currently for writing and what the interest level for me is. 

Each category is in no particular order btw as well. And I shall update this as things change, which I imagine they will be in flux!

So after some thought, I have decided to move all my Cardight Vanguard muses to their own space. All my other card game muses, like my Yugioh and Buddyfight muses, will remain here for now (they may get their own space later but IDK)

Anyway, you can find everyone (except Mirei and Tomari since I am still working on stuff for them along with a new mystery muse who I have not revealed yet) now on the attached sideblogs on the pinned post of the hub blog @vanguardsofcray . I have a pinned post and rules for each of the seven who are up and running right now, and will work on about/verses pages when I can! They are Dash only and use the BETA editor.

I just felt it right to give them their own space considering they've taken over this blog for almost the last year now. Any threads, verses dynamics, asks or anything at all related to them can still be continued on the new blogs! (EX: If I sent you an ask from one of them on here you have not answered yet you can just say its from their own individual blog now) I am just simply moving them to a new place, not rebooting my interpretations or anything!

That being said, I'm sure my activity on this blog will drop as a result of this move, but I will do my best to still write with my muses over here and keep up with what everyone's doing.

TW Cancer / TW Vent

I...was just told by my father that my step mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and I wasn’t told until now (when things got more clear) to not upset me while I’m in a busy point in my semester (perfectly understandable considering how much of a mess I am right now). They did catch it early, thankfully. But...she had to go through removing both of her breasts, one of the implants was faulty and that had to be removed too, she has to go through chemo and several other things and doctors visits, and my family is doing all they can to love and support her. 

I am so sad because of my school and work obligations, I can’t be there with her right now as she's on her road to recovery (Which the doctors say she should be able to live a normal life after a year of treatment they hope but you never know with these things) and I won’t know when I can see her. But...I know she wants me to continue doing my best in all I do, continue to make her proud, and not let this break me.

So, if I’m even slower on any replies (IC, OOC, ) than I already am for the next few days, that’s why. I also have a lot of school stuff coming up that any energy I have probably will be directed to as well, so that won’t help things either. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. 

Cherish the loved ones you have in your life. Cherish each moment. Be thankful for the simple things in life, because you never know what can happen.

Quick update! So, I’m setting my blog to officially to low activity, which tbh it’s been like that for a while now. The reason is honestly I am so swamped this semester. Even with three days off, I still have a ton of school work, studying, and other such irl tasks that need my attention and have been very draining. I’m in the hardest semester of my Masters and it’s showing.

I hope to be back to my regular way more activeness I’ve had in the past when the semester is over, but with myself hopefully getting into a PHD program (Fingers crossed), it might just stay like this for a while.

To compensate for the lower lack of writing/consistency on my end, I’ll be sure to do my best send memes to my mutuals if I happen to see them whenever I log on to check the dash, or be sending asks in general when I can. 

Thank you all for your patience and support with me, and I’m sorry if this news upset anyone. This is a hobby, and unfortunately, my IRL comes first. I also apologize for any late responses in dms too!

Blog Update!

Hello everyone and Happy Mother’s Day! Hope those who celebrate it have a wonderful day with their moms/celebrate if you are one! I am making this post just to give a general update on things since my summer semester is starting tomorrow. 

First, my schedule is actually a lot more hectic than I thought it was going to be, with my Mon-Weds super booked up till the late evening hours with everything from work to meetings to preparation for my PH.D program (which I didn’t actually mention that when it happened but I got into my dream PH.D program that I’ll be starting in the fall!). I also have a heavy meeting filled day (4 over hour meetings) on Thursdays bi weekly, and while I have Fri-Sun off every week, that time is either gonna be spent traveling (like I have a memorial day weekend trip I start on the 25th, which happens to be my birthday actually, to see family), doing thesis work (which has been the biggest source of stress for me, especially with participants continuing to drop out or not respond to me), or the rest of my coursework stuff so I can hopefully graduate with my masters this summer!

What that means for my bloggos is that I’m going to be probably very sporadic/low activity, even more so than before. I am planning to set aside at least one day as a me day to just relax (probably going to be Saturday), but honestly with how hectics things are getting, I wonder if I’ll even be using that day for something. 

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on. That doesn’t mean I still don’t want to write, I do! But just expect things to be slow. 

I also took the chance to clear out my drafts of things I have not responded to yet (not my inbox) that had been building up for months that I’ve lost motivation for. I would love to start new things with people, plot new things, and do all the things with my mutuals! I definitely are going to need the stress relief from school for sure, and this is a main way I relax.

Thank you all for understanding and being so patient with me. I very much love and appreciate all of you for sticking with me, even with my random changes in muse status, fandom interests, etc.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a good holiday if you celebrate! I have a pretty big update for you guys I wanted to share!

I have updated my rules page! Thought it was time to do so since I haven't really made many changes since I made this blog, and felt like I could make them more clear. I made them a lot more clear IMO, added some new ones (nothing major really, more just putting it out there things I already do and adding some small things), and put things into sections. Looks/reads a lot better now!

I highly recommend you read them over, and if anyone wants to unfollow for any reason after reading the updated rules, then feel free to do so. 

I hope that after the new year and the semester starts up again, I can get back into doing my regular queued replies again. I thank everyone for their patience with me on them! <3 I’ve just been very busy and the VG brainrott is real and has consumed me for the last while. Hopefully it will let up and I can write for my other muses again soon, as I do miss my other bbies! 

I also hope to post some more verse stuff (like Inuyasha verses for some of my muses, other crossover stuff, etc). If anyone wants to plot any crossover stuff or verses, hit me up!

Hello, everyone! So, tomorrow I am officially starting my second and final year of Grad School! This, of course, means my activity will be affected, but I’m going to do my best to make sure to get some writing done each week! These will be posted most of the time via a queue that will be posted Mon-Thurs, unless it’s something I wanna post right away. 

I will probably do some dash games or HC posts throughout the week (More so on Weds Thurs as those are my slowest days this semester, Mon Tues I have night class), but more often than not all my writing (asks/replies) will be queued!

These last few weeks have been so stressful, and I’ve only had time to do minimal writing if anything at all.
