Actually slightly rethinking my last headcannon and saying that Nine likes spiders in particular. They have what one would consider too many limbs, are despised by all, called names and cannot show their face least they're torn to shreads by those bigger than them. Maybe even, dare he say, he empathizes with the poor critter that has made a living under his desk.
