It turns out things you make that you feel are absolute shit can still rock someone's world. You could be putting zero effort into something you're making just because you're bored and find it mildly funny to pass your time with but then years later run into people who have legitimately been fans of that silly little thing since the beginning. Sometimes there's fans out there you never get to meet. It's super possible that you're a fan of what the creator considers their worst work! And that's awesome to think about. People enjoy stuff! And it never has to be your best to be enjoyable!

I just remembered #anyway I graduated and got sick of it or I thought that character was lame or whatever #and a couple years after graduating I ran into somebody I didn't even know who was like #'yooo you make Nosey the skeleton right???' #BUDDY I hadn't even THOUGHT about Nosey since 2016. and here we are in 2019. and you remember me? and the stuff I made? #my lame stuff???? you remember?????? #and now I have a friend who is very dedicated to the idea of making a point and click adventure starring that character (with a redesign #of course.) and it's like wow. somehow the stupid doodle I did in French class has lasted so long and come so far #and I almost let it die. but the people around me didn't let that happen #anyway there's probably something out there like that waiting for you or whatever
