SEMI-HIATUS WARNING !

During the upcoming week (from DECEMBER 11th TO DECEMBER 17th), I'll be working double shifts every day (Monday to Friday, and then I'll probably spend the weekend dead on the couch).

I had planned on scheduling at least a couple of drafts to post during this time, but unfortunately I didn't manage to get them done. So, since I will have little to no time and energy to write, I've decided to simply pause my queue completely for the whole length of the week.

I probably won't be logging into this account at all till Saturday, so I apologise to anyone who's waiting a reply from me in IMs or try to reach out to me while I'm gone. I'll get back to you in the weekend! Or you can try and text me on Discord, I might pop on there.

Whenever someone asks me that, usually my reply is "nothing at all", but I'll spare you that.

I guess that my writing is pretty decent? I'm hardly the most skilled writer out there, but I think that I can always offer my RP partners and ready some enjoyable material.

I also try to be a decent mutual. I know that this might not show on this blog, especially in the last months, because I've been very much absent. That's not a lack of interest in my mutuals here, though, it's me being physically not logged in here because most of my inspiration is on another blog. I've been trying to come back, but my presence is still gonna be sporadic here, compared to my activity on my other main.

Last but not least, I'm very good at being stubborn...for better or for worse xD

I'm giving this a short answer because it doesn't need much explanations...or at least it shouldn't. It's such an obvious concept that it should go unsaid, but somehow a lot of people end up not getting it. Or forgetting about it. Or not caring. Your pick.

RPing is a two way streets. You must engage someone to have them engaging you back. You can't just sit on your ass and expect people to shower you with attention.

I'm not saying that it's a do ut des, but it should be clear as the sun that, if someone feels like they are doing all the work without offering anything back, they will eventually tire of you and move towards better, more engaging shores. No one wants to be someone else's fanfictions vending machine.

I mean, it's logical...right????

25 what’s the worst rule you’ve seen on tumblr?

I've seen a lot of dumb rules checking out blogs through the years. Though, that doesn't always mean that they are bad, you know? I think that there's a difference between the two things.

One rule that I've always found dumb and bad at the same time is people having a long ass DNI list of fictional characters (especially when they write and / or engage with other muses who are objectively worse than the one they condemn).

First of all, take a chill pill, mate, because just because someone enjoys writing a problematic character that offends your specific sensibilities, it doesn't mean they are a bad person.

Secondly, get your head out of your ass...if you can do it considering how deeply it's stuck up in there.

However, if I have to pick the WORST rule ever, which isn't dumb at all, it's just bad...I ran a couple of times into blogs who had "if you ship -insert problematic kind of ship- you're a fucking horrible human being and you should kill yourself".

Btw, if you don't see what's wrong with that or, even worse, if you agree with that sort of thing...Please block me, because I don't want to interact with you.

4.what’s one thing that always manages to get under your skin?

Ngl, picking just one thing is a little hard for me, because there are a few behaviours that get on my nerves always and anyway, online and IRL alike. Perhaps I'm too salty or maybe too touchy when it comes to certain stuff, but I can't help it. And tbh? I don't want to help it xD

I guess that if I have to choose, I'd go for hypocrisy. People who know me have heard me complaining about that stuff endlessly (and I admire you, mates, for putting up with me xD), so the choice is probably no surprise. Besides, hypocrisy is something the rpc doesn't lack of.

I could write a novel on this topic, even without mentioning its ramifications IRL, but I'll keep it short for everyone's sanity. In short, I hate it with passion when people preach one thing and then don't care at all to do it themselves. They don't even pretend to do it, they are absolutely shameless about how they don't do it and it drives me fucking nuts.

General examples are people reblogging PSAs about engaging mutuals or showing interests or whatnot and then never those behaviours. Or people liking posts where someone complains / points out something as to say "you're absolutely right" and they are guilty of it. Or people moaning about lack of interactions and how no one engages them when they are the first who never reply to the people who reach out to them and who never try to engage other first. People who point their fingers and call others names because of something fucking harmless and demand not to be seen as bullies.

...And the list is still long, but I think that's enough examples.

I'll end this little rant by saying one extra thing tho. Those people really make me wonder. Sure, go ahead and be a shitty self-centred person, cool my ass. But...Are they so stupid to think that everyone else can't see right through them? Or do they just care so little that they are more than happy to flaunt their hypocritical asses around?

End Hiatus & Blog Updates !

So, I'm officially back from my hiatus! I have accumulated quite a few drafts and I still have to write them all, so I'll keep the queue slow (one reply every two days) until I'm caught up with them!

Also, there will be a few changes regarding the blog:

I'm turning this blog from selective to private (which means that I'll be pickier when it comes to following [back] people). This is because I'll be keeping it low activity (as it was before the hiatus), since at the moment my muse is still mostly for my other main blog. In that regard, I've also purged my followers and following list from the people I didn't follow back / never interacted with

Rules and Muses pages have been moved to Google Docs for easier access (links can be found on my pinned post)

I'm removing Dean Winchester as a muse. The chapter "Supernatural" is officially closed for me. I'll still be open to write with Spn RPs, of course, but I won't write muses from the show anymore (see next bullet for info on Gabriel). Tagging the people with whom I currently have threads with him, so you guys can be properly warned: @skallagrimulfhedinn, @waywardfeathered and @dayatarik.

For what concerns Gabriel, I'll be keeping him in my roaster in his current status as a request muse. However, I'll be favouring using him for AUs (even if his canon verses are still available of course!)

In general, I've changed the activity status of a few muses: Abigail, Five and Sam Adams are my primary muses; Will Graham and Crowley are my secondary muses; Will Byers and Moriarty are my tertiary muses.

Last but not least, I remade my Interest Checker to fit the changes! Please, make sure to fill it (this goes also for the people who had already filled it, I deleted the old replies)!

Thanks a lot for all your patience! I'll get back to my normal posting schedule asap!
