this is such a solid show so far, i dont even know what to say. episodes feel long, but they're not boring. they're lingering, they last. it takes everyday emotions and everyday experiences and lets them play out; it confers importance to the small things. the story and overall plot-per-ep is simple yet genuine, and everything and every character feels so lived-in. i like the mix of fun and serious, i like the steady growth and trust between mork and day and the little buds of tension starting to bloom. i love the way the camera brings things to the forefront of the viewer's attention, the way expressions are shot and how long those shots are allowed to last on screen...you really feel the emotion coming through, and it really impresses me from both an acting and directing standpoint.....im just rambling but the jist of it is that i'm really enjoying this

#*gestures wildly* p'aof makes this shit look effortless #he comes up with the most original things and then makes them feel justified and ordinary #like the inflatable dinosaurs - oh yeah those were from a costume party years ago #its all just to show day having a little fun and i love how that...gets attention #like theyre not *trying* to build the romance theyre just telling a story #does that even make sense??? bc obviously the story is building the romance #it just all feels really natural and believable even though its only been 3 eps #it feels like its been longer #the characters are already changing but it doesnt feel like its moving fast #MAN. MAN! #last twilight #jimmy and sea are really selling it and so is everyone in the supporting cast #it all feels very entangled while still giving the most focus to the mains -you really see the story from their perspectives #IM. IM ALMOST MAD ABOUT IT P'AOF MAKES THIS SHIT LOOK EASY
