let me tell you a story !!! when I was about 7 I was at a game back at the old arena during pre season and our seats were right by the penalty box, in this game my dad let me sit next to the box and none other than Geno got sent in a bit into the second period and in one instance he turned our direction and me being a little 7 year old tapped the neighboring glass and waved to him and he waved back and smiled lol. The game ends and a trainer waves my dad over and points to me and waves me over too and once we got to him walking by is none other than Geno who bent down and pet my head and told me I was cute and gave me his signed stick, (that thing was taller than me lol) and then comes Sidney walking by and he didn't stop until he was almost in the locker room and does a u-turn and waddled back with his skates and bent over and gave me a puck from the bench and was asking me how old I was, and if I liked the game, just being over all really nice to me. My dad was so shook after it all he asked the trainer what the deal was and the trainer was just like "Oh Geno LOVES kids, he said yours was too cute to not say hi too and Sid likes kids a lot too. She caught their attention" and to be fair I was really cute lol. But yeah that's my little pre season story for ya
