Ryeji Hybrid AU brainrot (1/?)

Cat!Ryujin is tasked by the Separatist faction to broker with the High Council for their system's independence from the JYP system. Jihyo sends in newly appointed consul, diplomat and her potential successor Wolf!Yeji to try and come to an arrangement that benefits the System and doesn't lead to outright war

Geography

The JYP system of planets is separated into sub systems that govern their own planets within the system

These sub systems include:

System 2

Largest currently with 18 planets.

Oldest subsystem.

Was originally just supposed to be a collection of independent trade planets but decided that the benefits of being categorised under one system outweighed those of being independent.

The Stray

Split off from System 2.

3 planets.

Considered the entertainment districts of the JYP system.

Trust

One very large planet.

First colony of the JYP system as Trust is very rich in resources and has a blossoming agricultural sector.

made up of the highest population non-Patricians within the entire system.

Note: the JYP system has eyes on 7 other planets referred to by the High Council as Entwurf but currently sentiments are divided on how to proceed. Jihyo would rather they negotiate instead of annexing it and repeating the same mistake their ancestors made with Trust but older consuls are pushing for annexation.
