(AU, 32k) Warnings: This is so fluffy it may kill you. Also the particular tournament that occurs in this story is a real tournament, but this is not when it’s run, and not how it’s run.

she's done it again. maayacola just seriously produces the best exo fic, consistently. she always sets a slow pace, never rushes, and yet you barely even notice the length of the piece. in fact, you don't want it to end. yes, even after reading 5 extremely long parts of it.

i am usually wary of love stories that overcome language barriers but this was simply believable. that's what most of her stories are, tbh. they feel real. they're not mere love stories where two people meet and fall in love (though i enjoy those too and i have no problem with them). they usually have lots of dialogue which show multiple relationships. we are given a glimpse of the life and development of her characters.

and even though some are set in alternate realities, she never forgets to integrate canon. you can even see a bit of the usual krislay, layhan, taoris, krischen dynamics here, to name a few. and imo that's one of the charms of her work. i'm always interested in how she's going to take what we know and love about exo and incorporate it into a new reality.

this is probably my favorite fic in this fandom now (and i don't even actively ship taochen), because it speaks to me on a personal level. i identify with who chen was before china, before the temple, before tao. someday i'd love to find something to be fiercely passionate about, something (or perhaps someone) i want so bad i would gladly step out of my comfort zone just to go after it and fight for it.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. With the added bonus of hinting/revealing (in chapter 12, where I currently am) that Jaime set it all up. Gotta love the "Oooh, how odd that we ended up being the only two on this trip and, no, I totally didn't plan this at all!" flavoring.

I'm a sucker for modern!Braime, and I love the characterization for both Jaime and Brienne. It's currently on chapter 12, and I'm on edge from the cliff hanger.

Warm eyes, and a warm smile; but Jon Snow kissed like a wildfire.

Again, I love kinkweeks. While this is not the raunchiest of the public bedding offerings, it is very well done and enjoyable.

You had an active part in all of this," he growled as if somehow what Clarke did to him could ever compare to what he did to her. "But you played me first," Clarke yelled, pushing him back. Bellamy lied to her first. Bellamy used her first. Clarke didn't start this, but she was determined to finish it.

It's Bellark, but set in the story of the show Revenge. It's just perfect! The first story is from Bellamy's POV, and the second is from Clarke's. Just... I absolutely love this.
