I think one of the most terrifying moments of my life is when I was standing in place to get the big group photo at a con, in my sweaty fursuit and someone went "[Fursona name???]" From behind me and then tapped my shoulder. It was the first and only time I've been recognized in public and it scared me.

#that specific con was SO much fun tbh #I remember that group photo experience really vividly lol #I somehow ended up with an assembly line of 13 year olds in dino masks following me #They were all really scared since it was their first con/parade and I'd done it a few times #and apparently I looked really trustworthy or somethin cause their parents approached me to ask me if I could watch them #I was like yea sure okay #no idea why I was just taking my head off for a minute to cool down and get a drink while they were putting us all in place
