abruptly headcanoning that Sporp’s not too good at cooking - he can prepare basic dishes, and has decent luck with soup, but cooking just isn’t something he does very often or has gone out of his way to practice since he’s happy with raw fruits and veggies and only the occasional cooked food.
Meanwhile, there’s Robbie, who is not a great cook, but he is very good at putting together fast, easy (if not considered healthy) meals and who definitely knows his way around baking sweets. Sure, he might ‘cheat’  by using a lot of pre-packaged things, but he still regularly prepares cooked food and is comfortable doing so. ( also he has a magic microwave and he uses it frequently )
So when Robbie finds out that Sporp’s cooking skills are Very Limited, of course he immediately tries to work that into a “make Sportaflop leave Lazytown forEVER” scheme by...idk maybe staging some sort of situation to embarrass Sporp by Being Better Than He Is At Cooking Things.
( i’m imagining a bit of a ‘cooking competition’ where the kids are asked to act as judges, and Robbie makes a Very Nice Cake whereas Sporp prepares something like...scrambled eggs or something. And the kids apologetically inform him that his dish is good, but just a little bit boring. )
Unfortunately for Robbie, the plan backfires because the episode is about Not Being Jealous Of Other People’s Skills, so instead of being upset that Robbie’s the better cook, Sporp’s just impressed, which Robbie doesn’t know what to do with.
The episode is also, secondarily about Trying New Things so the kids promptly drag both Sporp and Robbie into the kitchen and work on following a recipe to make a recipe from scratch that’s also fairly quick and easy.
