While we are on the subject of writing, I have accomplished almost nothing of real substance today. BUT, I have written two half-scenes (which. technically counts as a whole scene? Because I say so?) of former heroes! And now I'm half a scene into the scene that got me stuck because I was really worrying about what would happen once I got there, and half a scene away from finally finally finally being finished chapter six!

#and I got milk (the last one in the store actually) #and bagels #TWO bagels #and once i'm finished chapter six i'll be into chapter seven which is exactly halfway through my outline! #this scene was worrying me because it's from wayne munson's perspective #and I don't know the s4 characters well enough to be confident in my characterisation #but I forgot two very important things: 1) how much I fucking love outsider POV #and 2) how very very many late-middle-aged midwestern men I have known in my life #so. we're rolling.
