Kamil's story - a first time visitor on Mound Krakusa
The funicular ride I took uphill brought me to the place known as [Kali’s] Garden of [Eden], where wild roses grow and every single bush bears sixty blooms, with the sweetest scent of any flowers anywhere [1].  On my way up, the hustle and bustle of the city below grew fainter and the sumptuous greenery of the surrounding hillsides came into view.
In front of my eyes was a garden, and what a garden [2]! Beautiful pictures [of] herbaceous lupins, pink, yellow, mauve, and other colours, [...]; myosotis [...], giving spring carpets of their precious blue in bulb and other beds; giant pansies, white, primrose, mauve, purple, and other shades [3]; This garden [did] not whet your appetite; it quenche[d] it [4].
In awe of the kaleidoscope of colours that enveloped me, I heard a distant melody that stirred my soul with its ethereal notes. And behold, up came dancers and drummers with their drums and pipers with their pipes, [...] and played all manner antics with voice and limbs [5]. The placid serenity from moments prior had suddenly bloomed into a symphony above [the branches], a beating of drums below [the moss], dances, joyous faces [...], songs, [...] and frank laughter [6]. All gathered by a field which stretched to the brink of a brusque cliff. I stood amidst the crowd, a witness to the collective hush that enveloped us, where even the delicate flutter of dragonfly wings echoed through the stillness. Time seemed to stretch and linger, as if holding its breath in anticipation. And then, a delicate silhouette ascended the stairs leading up the cliff face.
"Who is she?", I asked my neighbour.
"Newcomer I see" he said, "You have been in Eden, the garden of [the] God[s][7], Kali and Apollo. You have joined to meet the oracle, Ewa. Now observe and talk not".
The oracle’s eyes, dark and deep as a starless night, observed the masses with a calm intensity that belied the seriousness of her task. And as Apollo started playing his lyre, she moved in great elegance, her long robes flowing in the wind. She danced her way to a little pavilion on top of the mound. The crowd and I followed her, imitating her movement. And once she reached the pavilion, a powerful voice bloomed from her lips:
"[Kali and Apollo are] wise [9], so pray to the Winds [8]" she spoke, "They will prove to be mighty allies of [Krakow] [8]. [Jack] is wiser [9], so, love of money and nothing else will ruin [Krakow] [10]. Also the dragon, earthborn, in craftiness coming behind thee [11]. Your presence here outrages the God[s] [12] who offended you. Don’t go back, matricide [12]! The names Shiva, Argus and Pinterest mark the hour of your downfall [12]!"
Ewa’s words rang out across the garden, her voice carrying the weight of the prophecy. We all listened in rapt attention, knowing that her words carried the authority of the divine. My neighbour, much like everyone else around me, seemed to have heard the true answer to [their] question [13], a question that only those of Krakow appeared to have pondered.

MHW: Quest & Monster Tier Guide
The post MHW: Quest & Monster Tier Guide appeared first on Fextralife.
The world of Monster Hunter World can make newcomers feel lost with different quests and monsters. There’s always questions that new players may have about how several aspects of the game work. In this MHW: Quest & Monster Tier Guide we will go over quest rank, hunter rank, monster threat and more.
MHW: Quest & Monster Tier Guide
Q: What is the best way to hunt a monster? Expeditions or Quests?
A: Hunters should progress their main story (called Assignments) until they unlock the monster they are looking to hunt. As you progress the main story, optional quests become available, and hunters will likely want to complete them in order to unlock the Rainbow Pigment. Alternatively, you can experiment with Investigations, which are focused hunts that have clear targets and often a much more limited time period, but bonus rewards.
Expeditions are an option but only if you wish to capture wildlife, fish, gather as well as hunt monsters. Monsters in expeditions can leave the locale if players take too long so its not wise to hunt in expeditions early in the game. Also investigations rewards players with items like monster parts so they can greatly speed up making that new armor set you must have.
Q: How do I know if I am high rank?/ Which quests are low rank compared to high rank?
A: Hunters should be on the lookout after they repel Zorah Magdaros and have to head to Wildspire Waste to find a Pink Rathian. This quest will mark the beginning of high rank. In addition, players should look to the stars colors on quests.
Blue = Low Rank (1 Star to 5 Star)
Orange = High Rank (6 Star to 9 Star)
Q: Does monsters scale to your power or are they fixed? What is the the difference between a regular, tempered, and arch tempered monster?
A: Monsters don’t match your power, they remain static and fixed. Instead, monsters are divided into tiers:
Low Rank (blue stars) = Normal monsters
High Rank (orange stars) =  Normal Monsters
Tempered monsters (purple outline) = Same as high rank monsters but deal more damage
Arch Tempered Monsters (orange outline) = Only applies to Elder Dragons. They have new moves, more health, higher stagger thresholds and deal more damage. Some are even more resistant to stuns and flashpods.
Q: How do you encounter them [the different tiers monsters]? What quests are they in?
A: As stated earlier players can find normal monsters in their proper rank. Players start in low rank and have access to low rank expeditions and investigations. Once they reach high rank they have access to high rank expeditions and investigations. Remember to collect monster tracks to quickly add investigations.
To find tempered monsters players must
Defeat Nergigante as this unlocks wild monsters potential to be tempered.
Alternatively players can complete the Land of Convergence quest involving Xeno’jiiva
Find tracks in the wilds to obtain tempered tracks. They are colored purple compared to normal green.
Once hunters undertake a tempered monster quest, they should collect tracks, break monster parts and then capture or kill the tempered monster. This will start the cycle of getting more tempered quests.
Alternatively hunters can undertake the Monster Track Event quests if they are live
