Oh the one hand, I love living in a walkable city, like I just walk to work and don't have to worry about parking at the end of the day. Which is a major concern, you know, being in a city and all. And the exercise is good.

But on the other hand... I'm fucking tired. My walk isn't even that long but sometimes a girl just wants to drive instead of walking a goddamn mile. Especially if that girl is working 8 goddamn days in a row. And I have pretty severe foot pain sometimes so sometimes I'm practically limping home. So. Sometimes not great.

#i feel like a lot of people championing walkable cities don't actually live in cities lol #also I'm gonna have to do this during the winter too #in wisconsin #so that's also not great #AND my area is slightly sketchy #not really dangerous for the most part but uhhhh people do get robbed and cars broken into all the time #and the occasional murder #so.... cities are also not the best sometimes #unless you're fucking bougie and living in a nice area #which i am definitely not lol #anyway consider chubby old women who work on their feet when you're talking about walkable spaces ok
