#hi 👋🏼 requesting for constructive advice here.. #one of my childhood friends who is a year younger than me but is already married and well settled is trying to get back in touch with me.. #he used to be my mother's student aas well during secondary school.. #he's asking for my phone number and wants to meet/talk to my mom #just trying to reminisce old days he says #anyway.. problem is although i am currently living with my parents (courtesy covid19) I'm not on speaking terms with them.. #to explain briefly lets just say my parents are extremely conservative but pretend to be liberals in the public eye.. #so you see.. they have a HUGE beef with me cuz I'm single while my peers are already having babies.. #and if this happily married guy meets my mom she'll pretend all is well and she's delighted to meet him but inside she'd be boiling with- #rage and jealousy which she'll eventually shower upon me in her own silent and not-so-subtle ways #so now i have no clue how to respond to this friend... PLEASE HELP 😭
