#Am maybe gonna go to a extended family meet-up thing today #BUT. earlier today my mom asked me if I knew that a guy around my age in our town is trans (i didn't bc I have nothing to do with him) #bc his entire fam was in the newspaper and they didn't misgender him so now he's like openly trans everywhere #and now I don't wanna go to the extended family meet-up because they're all so transphobic and if anyone else knows about him #then they're going to bring it up and I'll have to deal with a few hours of transphobia and PLEASE no thank you #doddie redet #I'm lucky it was my mom and not my dad who found it tho bc my mom might not even bring it up later & she's at least trying to be respectful #of him #I see him around town sometimes and I was 99% sure he wasn't cishet and now I know he's trans! #We sometimes share a lil 'I see you 👀' smile/look when we see each other around town <3
