It just hit me, of course I like Eichi, I'm a professional Lanzhu apologist.........

#the game Lanzhu specifically because the anime softened her and they were such fucking cowards to do it #don't get me wrong the SIFAS writing isn't very good #but I still liked Lanzhu so...... yeah........ #(also the story the anime tells suffers so much for it) #(like... anime Lanzhu is just a little standoffish and a loner) #(so it doesn't make any sense to portray her as such a big deal) #game Lanzhu is a demanding queen who wants others to improve and uses her authority to make sure they do #even though she can be cruel at times it's because she actually cares about the Nijigaku girls' growth #even though she may view them as below herself #yes game Lanzhu is mean but that's game Lanzhu at the beginning of the season she's literally supposed to go through character development #but noooo some Love Live fans couldn't handle an actually threatening antagonist so they just had to send death threats to the writers #everyone has to be freaking nice and I'm so done #anyways Lanzhu and Eichi are very different characters but they're also similar in certain ways #(Eichi is obviously way more complex though Love Live could never) #(Eichi is the character of all time <3) #also at least half of their respective fandoms hate them sooooo yeah #the Lanzhu apologist to Eichi apologist pipeline is real I tell you #steals Lanzhu and puts her in a better franchise
