trying to get cat advice between family members is exhausting cause like literally all of them are misinformed to some degree

#like some of it is helpful and has worked but also idk how much i can trust them #like my moms trying to tell me that wet food is actually a scam and not good for cats or dogs and its a waste of money #and like. while shes right that i have too much anxiety and dont need to go above and beyond and shes held me back a bit #she also thinks that people concerned about outdoor cats are ''insane cat people who dont make friends'' #and thinks that cats are inherently mean and you can just leave them alone #my sister has the most rational things to add and i trust her opinion since she loves cats a lot and has a lot of experience #but shes also like ''sign up for all these sites and be hyper vigilant trust all the anxiety'' and is frequently wrong on stuff #and then my aunt has some good advice but she wanted outdoor only cats #echoed voice
