thinking on it. i'm def thinking a bit on kai tonight and while i can't really give any concrete thoughts for certain yet since i'm only like halfway through g-revolution. i am having thoughts for sure!

#honestly tho his decision to not use black suzaku and his subsequent loss was SUCH a banger moment #genuinely quite possibly the best way they could've capped off his character arc or atleast One of the best ways #but yeah honestly while the fight itself was sick the setup for his match with takao around the middle of g-revolution did feel a bit. Odd #it did make sense within the setup of g-revolution's finals but eh honestly that plotline feels weird compared to season 1 as a whole #i don't mean that in a bad way but there is a HUGE jump in vibes #but yeah with g-revolution's setup kai is kind of a hard character to work with because like... fuck dude #his whole arc in season 1 was finally putting his friends before power but in g-revolution #the setup kinda goes Against showing that growth #whatever idk maybe all of this will end up aging poorly once i watch the second half of g-revolution #rat chat
