the more i think about rebuild's unit-02 the more in awe of it i am. it survived self-destructing. unit-00 didn't survive it in any continuity. even the mark.09, an eva that's 100% core, didn't survive the exact same explosion that unit-02 survived, despite it coming FROM unit-02. how. how do you survive self-destructing. the name is supposed to imply that you, in fact, destruct, and are destroyed. i think eva unit-02 is just built different
