Talked with it with Bev (how House ends up with Some Kid as an adoptive son), and he doesn't know *too* much about my parents but, as I was as a kid, me and House get in a fight and I'm crying, big fat tears and yelling bc thats all I know how to do and House starts to walk away bc he is not gonna deal with this right now till I stop crying and start begging him to "not lock me in my room please, I'm sorry. I won't do it again, I won't. I'll be good. I'm so-sorry House. I'm sorry, I'm re-really sssorry" and he pauses to let that run through his head, turns back around to look at me and he sighs inwardly and sits down on the couch, calls me over and asks me more gently what I said.

So I tell him what mom and dad used to do. And when I try to say I deserved it he just sternly goes "No." I don't think he likes hearing me say I was spanked either
