with all these grim times going on with matakara where arajin is somewhat sidelined i almost forgot about the stone! the recurring item of the friendship/love stone!! the stone nobody else has appriciated only matakara!!!

im so sure arajin is going to bring back matakara with either the old stone he gave him as a kid or a new one he made (maybe even the one above that he meant for mahoro?) bc of this frame in the op too:

and it would be such an amazing move to mirror mahoro's disgusted reaction in ep1 with matakara regaining his kind self from it in ep12, something something not the love that arajin wanted but the one he needed to be brave again
