Gonna be real with you for me its cause alfred molina is a very attractive man and the leather jacket, shades, and intimidating metal arms can do only good <3 /hj but more seriously he's one of the rare instances where he didn't himself choose to be evil. He's being controlled by the ai of the actuators and even in that he thinks what he's doing is noble until reality is brought back to the forfront and he realizes all the harm he's caused and makes a last ditch effort to redeem himself not just to peter and everyone else but to himself too. That shit is compelling. Yes it's 5:30 in the morning dw about it he makes me emotional there's so much raw emotion and soul in his version </3
I will be real/honest with you, too.
after reading this it reminded me of the wonderful little detail in the episode where he becomes doc ock he was getting ready for work in the lab while Norman was talking to him and he had a daydream of yeeting Norman into a wall with the arms that surprised him. (episode 8 :) )
[gonna make a post about this soon because that scene is great]
you feel bad when his last words in the malfunctioning science container he was working in and got trapped in by Norman/Goblin, his last words "I've been good.." like mAN. the whiny voice of peter macinol in that moment works so well.
many chef kisses to that.

...maybe.. I will see if there's a video on youtube of the spiderman trilogy but only when otto/doc is on screen cuz that'd be sparing me a lot to have to trudge through just to get to that story. ksjdhfjkh "orz though, the sandman part wouldn't be too bad since I remember that actually not being that bad?
anyways, final thoughts:
Doc Ock is neat like a potato. (and I love potatoes)
also bonus because I wanna talk about this doc so bad:
Man did not deserve what happened. πŸ˜”
He was just trying to do his job, should've quit his job sooner.
Spare himself all of THAT.
The guy genuinely thought he was a part of a murder and had killed Flint Marko and was deeply upset when Norman just casually said to sweep up the mess and try again like.. not even giving him time to process everything. He was concerned for the quickly put together lab for such an experiment, concerned that the place wasn't up to code and safety and everything, never even given time to run tests-- being told that this WAS the test..
my man should've quit. 😩
also I think he should've taken a page out of his best bud Vulture's book and turn his attention purely on Norman. Trying to become the big tycoon ruler of New York? come on, Otto, my man. You can do better.
One too many bad days piled up one after the other. No matter how many extra arms you got, even super powered ones like that, No one can take all that without something snapping and breaking.
