//one wonders Sybelle's up to, because she's in an obsessive phase only coming out of her music room to feed or sleep, and that's normal for her to have theses phases but what is she cooking ? Then you find out she's been composing a piece about cats.

Crash course on monster facts!
Slimes are born of tree sap, fruit juices, and even leaf essences. In Layman’s Terms, they originate from all forms and manners of plant life, hence explaining why the jelly they drop is usually so sweet and how said slimes can come in various different “flavors”.
Goblins are creatures most sensitive to the environments around them, which explains the countless variations they come in; Mage Goblins utilize magic in order to adapt to the high concentrations of the DL’s power in a certain area (Nightmare Tower, Karkaton), Fairy Goblins are smaller and more nimble- just like actual fairies, etcetera.
Speaking of Goblins, it appears that they share a common ancestor with the Asian Elephant, which would explain their ear shapes and apparently high intelligence - an attribute that has caused the debate on whether they have created their glasses/space helmets or not to blow up amongst Miitopian biologists -.
Snurps have originated from Otherworld, and were eventually corrupted by the Dark Lord’s power over time- so much so that the existence of snurps in a certain area is an instant red flag, as it is usually a sign of the DL’s presence (eg. final maps of RotF and GH, Nightmare Tower). It is perhaps this combination of dark magic and astral energies that has granted the Boss Snurp both its status and its chaotic abilities.
Monsters must always be within a certain radius from the people whose faces they have stolen, which is presented to us on-fleek during the RotF and Karkaton arcs (and that is without mentioning the Travelers’ Hub missions). Once they stray too far or if the faceless victim was killed off, two possibilities will occur; either the monster will “split” into smaller variants - each possessing a piece of the facial features they were once fused with -, or the face will completely dissolve and render both the monster and victim lifeless (which is 100% the case if death befell their victim). In a way, both the monster and the mii are one and the same; sharing a life source and even a mind.

[I make fun of it a lot, but I honestly really love Troy having his own last name tattooed across his stomach.
Mostly because it DOES come across as cheesy and shallow and egotistical at first glance, just like much of what he does. But, I really do think it's deeper than that if you get to know him. Mostly because Calypso ISN'T his legal last name; it's a stage name that him and Tyreen chose for themselves after cutting ties with their abusive father.
“Calypso” isn't really just a shrine to his own ego. It's symbolic of the identity and life he's created for himself, in sharp contrast to the life his father wanted for him. When he became a Calypso, he stopped being a DeLeon and stopped carrying his father's legacy and his upbringing around with him.
In addition, he isn't the only Calypso. “Calypso” is symbolic of not just his own identity, but of the bond between him and his only family, his sister. “Calypso” represents him and Tyreen against the world.]

ennegram personality test
Tumblr media
TYPE 6 - LOYALIST
You are very resourceful, reliable, loyal and pragmatic. That’s because your personality is built on the belief that the world is a dangerous place that can only be survived by staying close to others and preparing for the worst. You think everything through in advance. This way, you hope to detect hidden threats – which makes you an amazing planner, but which also erodes your confidence in your own judgement and lets you cling to authority figures to keep you safe. For you, duty is no old-fashioned word. It’s one of your core principles. You are the kind of person who hold groups together by being the one everyone can rely on the most. You readily take on responsibility and often volunteer to do the tasks no one else wants to do.
Strengths of Enneagram 6s
Are loyal, trustworthy and responsible
Are steady and persistent
Are more interested in supporting the group than being the star
Can be very courageous when they feel the need to defend their loved ones
Are amazing at planning and executing without forgetting any detail
Stay realistic and consider all options before rushing into anything

[The Master's reddit activity is predominately based around the Doctor. There's as many in-universe Doctor Who subreddits as there are in our universe, possibly more.
The Doctor is treated the way the Loch Ness Monster or Big Foot are treated in our real world, with groups of very dedicated conspiracy theorists obsessing over him and posting blurry evidence of his existence and personal anecdotes of that one time that they swear they met the Doctor but didn't get a picture but they really met him they swear.
The Master reads all of these posts. The legit sightings help him with his own Doctor stalking, and the lies and incorrect theories make him laugh. He rarely posts himself, but he comments frequently. Sometimes he offers up theories that are blatant lies to throw other people off, other times he offers up truths that everyone assumes are lies because how could anyone know what the Doctor's favorite food was ten regenerations ago? He spends more time trolling than contributing anything useful to the conspiracy theory communities, but his screen name is well known around them. He's known as a weirdo who spends all damn day reading every single thing that's been posted.
He spent a few years keeping tabs on subreddits dedicated to decoding and translating ancient languages until he found a small group of people with a handful of examples of Gallifreyan that they're certain is the language of an ancient alien race. He soaks up praise for being such a natural genius at decoding it, but makes enough intentional mistakes to not draw suspicion.
And in between all of this is the occasional post to r/relationships, r/vent, or r/amitheasshole. Always about the Doctor but never admitted to be about the Doctor. Just enough details changed to have plausibly happened to two humans; he's not great at it, though. He'll do things like claim himself and the Doctor are both 30, then claim it's been an ongoing fight between them for the past 50 years. A lot of people assume he's just making the stories up entirely. Really, he's expecting validation; for everyone to take his side and say the Doctor was in the wrong. In reality, the majority of the comments are "I hope this is fake. If not, she should call the cops on you."
He especially takes offense when commenters call him an incel, but it's difficult to explain in "I'm a human, really!" terms that he still treated the Doctor this way when the Doctor was a man, and when he himself was a woman.
Sometimes he gets in passionate arguments about what a great prime minister Harold Saxon would've been if he hadn't been assassinated and also that he was oh so handsome.]

Disease Compendium: pt 3
The Lyseni pox (not to be confused with the previously mentioned Valyrian pox), is a disease common among brothels, pleasure houses, and seedy alleyways across the known world. Symptoms are painful but easily treated by a maester or healer, so long as one tries to avoid reoccurring infections. Despite it's name, there are no signs pointing that it originated in Lys at all, and in the Free City herself, the disease is called the Tyroshi Pox (who, in turn, call it the Myrish pox. rivalry between the three daughters is deep)

So what Hogwarts house would she be in? (we’ll pretend like we don’t already know the answer)
[ unprompted & welcome headcanon inquiry || @spikyhairedsilhouette ] what a fantastic question! kimi is most definitely a Hufflepuff. .. HA ! kimi is certainly in the Slytherin house. ( no surprise there, huh? ) she's cunning, devious, sharp-tongued and not opposed to applying a little dark magic if it means she gets what she wants.

Sybelle's idea of fun is to play the Flight of the Bumblebee or the third measure of the moonlight sonata on the piano. (She LOVES fast paced pieces on the piano they make her brain feel happy)
Also. Liszt. Anything by Liszt is fun

[A lot of people interpret Jack's behavior in Tales very literally as like… this is how Jack would always act, these are the decisions he would always make. I think people forget a lot of the context. I'm not saying that Jack is a good person or that he's not responsible for his actions in Tales. I'm saying that he makes a lot of careless, impulsive, choices that he probably wouldn't have made if he'd had the time to think it through.
In Tales, he wakes up and the information is suddenly thrust upon him that he died. And you can see by his reaction that this really upsets him. On top of dying, he's just gone from being the most influential person in the galaxy to not being able to interact with ANYTHING or speak to anyone besides Rhys.
I see people saying he never cared about Rhys and that he was just trying to manipulate him, but I really think it was both. He likes Rhys. He sees a lot of himself in Rhys. But, at the same time, he's in fight or flight for the entire game. He's gone from being fully in control of EVERYTHING, to having to rely fully on Rhys. He feels like he knows exactly what has to be done to get them out of all these situations alive, but he has to BEG Rhys to do what he's telling him to do. His life is on the line. He's panicked and frustrated and hasn't had a moment to grieve his own death and he feels like manipulating Rhys is the only way to get out of this situation.
When they get to Helios, he's flooded with updates; all the information of his own death, Angel's death, Nisha's death, everything that's happened since he died, the reality of the fact that he's been dead for years and the world has just kept spinning. And THAT is when he freaks out and tries to kill Rhys repeatedly. I really don't think killing Rhys was his plan from the start. I think when he feels backed into a corner he starts behaving recklessly and he consistently hurts the people he cares about most when he gets like this.]

[That new trial was sure something!
Everything Murkoff does seems to be modeled specifically based on things they know about their test subjects based on therapy/background checks/etc. The maps are definitely specifically designed to trigger their Prime Assets as much as possible.
I definitely think this trial (based around trying to create sex toys in the image of Dr. Futterman, the goose puppet from her TV show,) says something about what's going on in her head.
Phyllis has always been made to feel like she isn't allowed to have an identity of her own. She's always been the daughter and assistant of Dr. Futterman, the locally famous dentist. Anything she's ever done on her own has been critiqued by him as “you're going to make me look bad.” Everything she does reflects on him. This is more apparent than ever when it comes to her sexuality.
She's always been hypersexual. It’s one of the biggest things he'd verbally abuse her about- that she's dressing like a slut, that she's acting like a slut, that this is a FAMILY dental practice and no one is going to want to do business with them if Phyllis is tramping around town like this.
She has a lot of guilt and shame around her sexuality and nearly all of it comes back to how it reflects on her father (the man her goose puppet is modeled after.) The sexualization of the Dr. Futterman goose mascot by Murkoff directly circles back to that; it's a nightmare-esque vision of “this is how people see your father because you've been such a disappointment, Phyllis. Are you happy with yourself?”]

[people talk about the twins childhood on Nekrotafeyo and how the abuse they took from their father there shaped them as characters, but no one ever really talks about the early days on Pandora. I think so much of what we see of them in canon as villains was shaped by the years that we don't see.
Their childhood definitely set them up to fail in those years. They were completely isolated as kids with no human contact outside of their parents. They were not at all taught how to survive in the real world because their dad's expectation was that they would never be allowed to see that world.
Canon isn't clear about at what age they left Nekrotafeyo for Pandora, but they couldn't have been older than 18. I personally put them at 16, but it honestly could've even been younger. They were still kids and they went from having never spoken to another human being, never seeing a shop, never seeing a car, no concept of money, etc. etc. to being right in the middle of the most dangerous planet in existence fighting to survive with absolutely no support system or back up plan.
Being so isolated, and so codependent due to being previously conjoined and due to Troy literally relying on Tyreen for his survival even before you get into the emotional aspect of their codependency, they grew up with the mindset of only being able to trust and rely on each other. Once they found themselves surrounded by people on Pandora who wanted them dead or worse, it only amplified this. Trusting only each other went from being a comfort to being a necessity for their survival.
This us vs them mindset absolutely contributed to their ability to hurt and manipulate people without a second thought. They learned quickly that it was kill or be killed on Pandora and they fought for the position they're currently in.]

I've always had a suspicion that Ares in Hadesgame is actually depicting more of the Roman god Mars because the armor he's wearing is that of Roman legionaries. Also the way he carries himself with such a dignified aristocratic air is more of a Roman idea rather than his Greek identity. In this essay I will—
