What I don't love, is 'Rafael is a virgin but ends up being amazing in bed on the first try' that I've seen multiple times

That man is going to be awful at sex in the beginning. He's got no confidence. He's not gonna know what to do with his hands. (What is he supposed to do with his hands?)

His consent game is gonna be very strong, though. He will absolutely make sure of enthusiast consent before doing anything. Almost to the point of asking for too much consent. (Farmer: Raf? Why are you stopping? Rafael: You sure this is okay? This, um, isn't too much? Farmer: istg if you don't put your mouth right back...)

I have a feeling I am going to have to write what I want to read. Rafael being really bad at sex in the beginning of the relationship. It's what we deserve

So multi-chaptered Coral Island Rafael romance fic is happening. It's plotted. Chapters are ready to be written. Gonna be rated T, though. I'll save my sex headcanons for a different fic

One thing that's gonna be fun is doing a little bit of research. The idea is that at some point, Amelia and Rafael have to fight some sort of monster together. At first I was like they'll both use swords. Cool. Easy to write

But then I got a bit of dialogue tonight. Turns out he uses a freaking MORNING STAR to fight. Not just that. One of his own creation

So now I have to go watch some videos of people being kick ass with morning stars because I literally have no idea how people can use them without knocking themself out!

I've been quietly, hoping, waiting, for you to play Coral Island and it's finally happening!

Ha! That is awesome. I mean, how can I not love this game when we get interactions like this?

Well this stinks. I've heard about game-breaking bugs in Coral Island but it's been smooth sailing for me so far. That is, until the last update

Now I can't talk to anyone on the beach without the game crashing on me. The game has crashed 3 times today. I'm trying to decide if I'm up for trying to get through the same day for the fourth time or if I need a break

Break is winning. Maybe I'll check out Nightingale. Sigh
