guys enola holmes 2 was so cute did anyone else watch it

#I am not immune to cutesy movie in the universe of a series I love #like it's not Cinema but I do enjoy it #also what they did with Moriarty easily made the character the most interesting portrayal I've personally seen imo #I *do* wonder what they're going to do with Irene Adler in this universe tho since Sherlock is already sort of in his accepting women era #and the keystone of the original story is that Irene was the one to help him realize women could/would be his equal and from there on out #he seems to respect women to a certain degree (while holding some era-typical attitudes) #honestly they're sort of coding enola's mom as wlw so if they *actually* make irene a lesbian and have holmes as a witness to the marriage #that'd both be keeping in with the tone of the universe and thumbing their nose at BBC sherlock which I find inherently hilarious #no not that sherlock
