Thinking that if they don't see each other ever again they will forever regret how they parted ways. Usopp knowing that he did wrong fighting Luffy like that and then wanting to come back without a proper apology at first, so he doesn't blame Zoro for making Luffy's mind on how things works, that Usopp couldn't come back anytime he wanted, like nothing happened, but it doesn't hurt Usopp any less thinking about it, and Zoro feels heavy with guilty, knows it was the right thing to do, but after everything happens and everyone is okay and Usopp is back, he knows he could've had a better approach
