nobody even bats an eye at all the misogyny and all the hatred towards women in classic literature and nobody mentions it when you discuss it in class and you slowly start to become familiar with it and it becomes something so casual and so regular to you that you don't even bat an eye when it happens again and again and again and the cycle goes on
