Want to learn to sew stuff on a machine instead of by hand but I'm scared The Mechanism

#smokey talks #also i dont have the space for a sewing machine at the moment #also patterns and seam allowances and cutting properly on a mat with those wheely-do's is #intimidating to say the least. everyone in tutorial spaces for these things assume ur mom taught u the basics already #most of the things i want to learn would be far less intimidating if i could meet with someone who does them #and have them show me stuff for an hour or two #i just don't like wasting money on clutter if i cant be certain ill be able to do the thing yknow
