Pharma/Ambulon is a ship I kinda want to get into because it feels like it's a ship that has a lot of drama potential. It's not enemies to lovers but it's like, ETL lite. I guess there's just something in there that you can pick at to find some angst? Like, Pharma hates Decepticons and so he hates Ambulon because he's a Decepticon, but eventually comes to love him later on? Or you could work in something about Pharma's deal with Tarn/the DJD to save Delphi, in which part of the reason he makes the deal is so that he can protect Ambulon (I've seen many fics take this approach even with platonic/not particularly close Pharma and Ambulon).

I don't think I ship it in a "these guys would make a great long-term/stable couple" way, I think I ship it more in a "this has great angst potential/they have really complicated feelings towards each other" way but I don't really have any ideas for how.

#squiggposting #like for example we do know that pharma trusted ambulon enough to make him his ward manager over first aid #i might be mixing up the order since i remember ambulon is the one who demoted first aid #like you could argue that even if pharma hates decepticons that didn't stop him from working with one #then again pharma apparently never even gave ambulon the codes to the quarantine room he should've had as ward manager #but we honestly don't know enough about their time working together to really say #we know what first aid thinks of pharma but we don't know what ambulon thought of pharma #presumably not much better but like. he was the ward manager and would've had more contact with pharma #maybe there would be some sort of determination on ambulon's part to get pharma to see him as worthy? #some sort of breaking down of pharma's preconceptions of ambulon as an ex decepticon? #i mean. pharma hates decepticons but ambulon isn't a decepticon any more. could be some potential there
