small piece of writing🎖💗🎠

I dont usually write, so i hope that this isnt terrible! I wanted to write something cute. Please excuse any mistakes O_o I'm trying my best!!

All they could hear was the sound of their shoes hitting the sand in a regular rhythm, as the waves of the sea were going back and forth, gently washing their footprints off the shore. Unlike the sunny skies that once revealed the seashells' bright sparkle, right now a dark blue cloud projected its shadow onto the ground.

Frogeru and Kiyotaka were going on a walk along the beach. Despite the unusual weather, Frog insisted on them paying a quick visit to their favourite place. They were holding hands tightly and she was carrying a colorful crocheted bag over her shoulder.

- Frogeru, are you cold? There's more wind than I have anticipated. May I lend you my jacket?

- It's just some wind, man. If you're going to give me that, wouldn't YOU be cold then? I'm fine. I enjoy the wind!

Frog let go of Kiyotaka's hand and started to spin around, doing a few jumps up in the air, while exclaiming happily.

- I believe you! Still, I'm unable to understand why are we here right now, exactly. Were you that excited to see the ocean again that we couldn't have waited for a better, sunnier day?

- I suppose you can also say that... I wanted to give something to you!

She took a floral sheet out of her bag and laid it softly on the ground. As they sat down, she placed a bag of pretzels and two bottles of water on the sheet. For a few seconds, they stared at eachother without saying anything. The wind kept blowing strands of Frogeru's hair into her direction. Kiyotaka tried his best to keep his girlfriend's hair out of her face, but his inevitable failure only made her laugh at the situation. They both looked incredibly silly.

- Well, this is quite difficult..! he opened a bottle of water and took a sip. How can you enjoy this type of weather?!

- It's not that bad! It doesn't bother me at all.

Frog's smile shined brightly, as the wind continued to lightly move strands of her hair. Taka took Frogeru's hand once again and held it against his cheek. She couldn't help but giggle at her boyfriend's sweet gesture. No matter the location or state of weather, they always found ways to enjoy the time spent together.

- I love you, dude! Thanks for accepting to come here with me.

- There's absolutely no problem, my dear Froggy. Haha, I love you more!

- "I love you! No, I love you more! No!! I love you more! No!!!" was funny the first time, but don't you think it's kind of an overused trope in media? You know, it seems that the unusually expressive affection some couples have for eachother is easily the target for these kind of jokes during mainstream television shows and movies...

- I.. uh..!

- HA! Got tricked again! I love YOU more! Ehehehe! Frogeru waved her hands in a goofy motion, as a way of celebrating a new, tiny prank.

- Oh! I should've noticed your change in tone earlier and realised you weren't being serious... Hahaha! You always know how to trick me. No, I love YOU more!

Kiyotaka got closer to Frogeru and gave her a warm hug. The girl reached for her bag and took out a small, heart shaped box. Without saying a word, she opened the box and revealed a shiny, small ring inside of it. Her sweet smile warmed up Kiyotaka's heart.

- Woah! A gift! And what a gift! Dear, this is so wonderful... You spent all this money on jewelry for me.. I can't believe it! Your generosity is out of this world.

Taka kissed Frogeru softly on the cheek and continued to thank her for the gift, while she was trying her best not to laugh.

- Do you like it? Does it look nice on your hand? Frogeru had the widest grin on her face, patiently waiting for the moment of realisation.

- I love it! I wouldn't consider myself a "jewelry person", but this ring is quite beautiful! Are these gold inscriptions of my initials..? How much have you spent on this?!

- Don't worry about it, angel. You deserve the most special of things. I would gift you the entire moon, the sun and the stars, if I could. I love you more than anything in this world and I want us to be together for as long as possible. You mean everything to me, you know? Frogeru held both of Kiyotaka's hands and looked at him, as her eyes sparkled - a few tiny tears rolled off her face.

- A-Ah! You are everything to me as well! I can't even imagine who would I be now if it wasn't for you... I want to be with you for as long as I'm alive. I absolutely can't see myself living without you! I... Taka remembered the ring on his finger. He looked at it very closely, inspecting each and every centimeter of material. He felt the same thing he felt when he realised he loved Frogeru - the butterflies in his stomach began their coordinated flight once again. ...Dear?? Is this.. IS THIS A PROPOSAL ??!

Frogeru started laughing loudly. Her tears were still flowing, but that didn't seem to stop her excitement.

- Took you long enough, dummy! Hehe, you should have seen your face! I totally expected this, but the consistency of your reactions is always a surprise. So! What do you say? Frog put her arms on her hips, proudly.

- ... F-Frogeru.. he couldn't stop his tears. He hugged his girlfriend tightly and didn't let go for a few moments. He couldn't say anything else - he only shook his head as a way of expressing his "YES!"

- Haha... You're too adorable, dude... she gave him a pat on the head and kissed his forehead.

They held eachother closely and looked at the ocean. The wind had finally stopped blowing. Frogeru opened the bag of pretzels and put one in Taka's mouth.

- I hope they're not too salty for your taste. I used to eat a lot of those when I was younger. My cousin sent them to me, he somehow found a bag in an small store in his town. Didn't know they still sell them...

Kiyotaka's eyes softened everytime he heard his beloved talk. The pretzels were good, but the comfort of his girlfriend being part of his life was more important in that moment. They were going to be together, forever. That thought made him more happy than he could ever express with his words.

- I love you, Froggy...

Ayy, thanks for reading :> It was fun! Oh yeah, i wanted to write this because im planning their wedding this summer! Nothing too special, I'll just post some drawings, but I wanted them to propose first. I hope it wasnt too bad LOL
