man every time i bring up my old edgy pokemon ocs it makes me wanna draw them again lmfao..... i did a lot of Stupid Shit with them that makes me wanna Die when i remember it but i also did lots of Sillay things & like at their Core they were loads of fun & they have a special place in my heart lmfao

sapphire was my like Sert Insert, she was a vulpix with black hair & tails and neon green eyes, she also had like. a spike bracelet around every leg (sometimes several) and one around her neck. at one point i stopped drawing her with vulpix tails because they were too hard so i swapped them out for a Singular Bushy Wolf Tail with a Black Tip & i put a spike bracelet around That too

she was dating a riolu named spencer who was just. a very poorly covered up copy of the first kid i ever had a crush on in the 5th grade LMAO... he didnt even have anything funky going on with his design i dont think, he was just a riolu with bangs

stan was a pikachu that was just like. a stoner. like his only personality trait was being a stoner. i wrote a fic once where they had a substitute teacher & he was rolling a blunt & their sub was like “hey dont do that” & he was like “dont worry our teacher lets us smoke weed” & the sub was like “oh okay :)” . absolute fucking highlight of Any of my works

then there was like. god i think her name was brittney? or stacy or something. she was a shiny buneary & she was just a Generic Dumb Blonde & also she was dating stan. she was like, a cheerleader. she had no personality outside of being a prep

there was Also an articuno named feather who was like the Stern Slightly Older Lady Straightman or whatever & an eevee named silver who was just. my friends character he wanted me to make for him, but i didnt rlly use them very much lmfao

sapphire had some parents who were like. subconciously my own parents but i didnt even realize until i grew up a little bit lmao oopS..... like her dad was an arcanine that was super submissive & her mom was a control freak ninetails that was literally just zira from tlk2. like i want even trying 2 hide it. i made a “thats my lullaby” amv in my head with her once. idk HOW them being very obvious recreations of my parents somehow slipped by me for so long actually
