#I'm seeing a lot of discourse on my dash #and I would just like to say that I actively dislike the blues and love vince #just like I actively dislike the rangers but love Chris Kreider #and I actively dislike the knights but like jon merrill (who isn't a knight anymore but same idea) #and I actively dislike the hawks but think that Kirby Dach seems like a sweatheart #like? what #I didn't know we were only allowed to like players from the teams we love #what happens when those players don't play for that team anymore #like if the love of my fucking life Tyson Jost or Nolan Patrick gets traded to one of my least favorite teams #I'm supposed to what? stop liking them? #and I get that its different with Vince because he was drafted by STL #but its kinda weird that theres a huge discussion about this #people are allowed to have nuanced opinions about things lads #I'm not like soliciting a conversation about this by soapboxing in my tags but like #idk I just don't get it would you prefer that we hate Vince simply because we hate his team? #I feel like especially during free agency when everyone is doing the cupid shuffle around the league #its a bit unfair to say that people can't like individual players but dislike a team in general #idk thats just me tho #K talks to herself in the tags
