you know there's something about putting a lot of effort into writing a fic when I know after posting it'll only get comments for a couple weeks. After that it's only kudos and mmmm

I know that the point of posting isn't for comments, but I wish it was more of a thing

#then again i might just be a bad writer #maybe too many people back out of my fics #i know like i do it too i begin reading and im like mmm not for me and leave #but man i just... the most recent comment i got was just about grammar on a 6 year old fic #nothing about the story and i guess im just getting to a point of like why dont people comment after a couple weeks #why does it become so sparse even as the hits climb and climb #idk something about my latest fic (that's almost a year old) having 10k hits but just shy of 100 comments #something about that just demotivates me a little #would like to add that with 100 comments half of them are my replies
