1. the character everyone gets wrong

TRAVIS. so so so many people have such awful takes when it comes to trav, like there's so much character slander and hate for my boy. GUYS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HIM LIKE I DO. like guys he's just as tragic and complicated as the girls are. he cares so much but was raised in a culture which doesn't allow men the opportunity to feel any emotions except anger: he lashes out then breaks down over it and won't let anyone close enough to help carry that emotional burden. like, the only significant interaction we see between shauna and travis is when she almost slits his throat during doomcoming, something she never apologizes for. (none of them do, which is another discussion to be had.) and yet, when shauna is in labor and struggling, travis slits his palm open and spills blood for her without hesitating for a moment. i just ... i love m pathetic little wet cat and his stupid sad boy middle part

17. there should be more of this type of fic/art

mmmm as an extension of my first point, natravis hate. you don't have to love them, but the level of visceral i've seen ... like whether you like it or not, that relationship is an INTEGRAL part of BOTH of them!! it shaped who the are!!! it defined quite literally the entirety of nat's adult arc in s1!!!!
