why dont games show what age rating they areeeeee

#some do they give you a big warning like “rahh sex rahh drugs mentions in here state your birth before viewing the page!!!!” #but some games that DONT have that but are dark DONT have age ratings #im asking this bc my mum bought my siblings 'bokura' without checking anything #and i just wanna know if its like teen or smth #bc my siblings ARENT teens #and ive read some spoilers and im pretty sure theres an onscreen death and the trailer shows blood in some scenes and like body horror ish? #the game has a cute pixel style so im hoping its not too bad but idfk #my mum gets mad at me for looking at “demons” (idrk how to translate the word properly) and other 'scary' creatues n shit #so im petty B)
