tbf some of these people are "joking" but like..."many a true word is spoken in jest" and you can 100% tell when someone does like 20 posts in a row about having to gatekeep lol. it's pretty typical of teens to be pretentious and gatekeep-y lol (like teen ryan himself was towards pre-mainstream fob lol), so I can't be mad at them, but...dude was the lyricist and guitarist of one of the most popular bands of 2005 to 2009, and arguably one of, if not the most beloved member(s) lol sooooo...
