I can’t believe THE Messemoon doesn’t consider Choices her best work.

Girl I - I love them all, you’re such a talented writer fr fr but CHOICES?! Choices is one of the stories i actively avoid after having read it once because I know the characterization and dynamics will just hurt me in the end.

yeah i mean, choices is kind of complicated

like for one, it was my first fic and i think i've grown as a writer since then

the other thing is i wasn't really trying that hard when i first started, cause that was kind of the point, it was fanfic, but it again means that i think it's weaker

the other thing about choices though is it took on a bit of a life of its own for a while there, where it got so big that it just felt like it didn't really belong to me anymore, and it also resulted in me getting a lot of horrible messages etc etc. sooo it's harder to feel just good things about it

but hlayk was always my weird lil story about my weird lil ship so i feel better about it, same with ohb (kyd is growing on me, there are parts of it i really, really love, there are just also parts i don't like but can't seem to fix)
