Considering your state of boredom, to all your swtor oc's, what do they like to do when they are bored?

Marli tries to meditate or practice with her weapons when she is bored because she follows the Jedi philosophy that if you’re bored you probably have better things to do. 

Jhonnen

As a rule, Jhonnen is miserable when he’s bored and tends to grumble until he finds something to do. The trouble being that bored is often a mindset and you can be bored while doing something. 

Hyperdrive: Jhonnen tries to rope other people into card games when he is bored, now that there are people on his ship. Before that he would see if any of the Tick’s systems needed tinkering with. 

Riptide: Jhonnen mostly practices combat with the droids in the excercise room though he will occasionally just go talk to Vette or Quinn. It’s hard to be bored talking to someone you really, really like. 

Breaker: Kira always has suggestions on beating the boredom. The Jedi wouldn’t approve of any of them. Also Jhonnen will work out in his room if Kira is busy or otherwise unavailable. Sometimes he’ll get stories out of Doc. 

Fallon

Fallon will mindfully listen to music when she is bored or coax Quinn away from his duties. If neither of these are an option or doing it for her, she will practice her lightsaber form. Boredom is just a reason to do something you enjoy. 

 Jacks

Jacks doesn’t believe in boredom. There are weapons to be maintained, drills to run, systems to check, a husband to check in on, floors to clean, laundry to do. 

Inle

Does she have anywhere to be in the near future? No? Inle drinks. Usually by herself. Does she have somewhere to be in the near future? Inle worries about that. Usually this just leads to her being bored and anxious but hey, she’s trying. 

Yon’kne

Being bored is the worst so Yon’kne usually finds something to read. Fiction novels, biographies, historical texts, you name it. Sometimes she’s got enough time between now and her next task that she will convince Andronikos to fuck her because that’s more fun than reading (not by a huge margin but by enough) and then they end up talking. 

Hrafnhar

Hrafnhar doesn’t have time to be bored, which is good because she’s insufferable and exceedingly pliant to Gault’s schemes. You do not want Hrafnhar more open to Gault’s schemes. Torian doesn’t want Hrafnhar more open to Gault’s schemes. 

To beat the boredom, Hrafnhar usually bullies someone into doing something with her. With Mako that can be anything from shooting drills to searching for a tough looking bounty. With Torian that can involve adult pursuits or cooking lessons or Mando Culture 101. With Blizz she’ll help out in the engine room. And with Gault, of course, there are the schemes.

6.What are their defining features?

Fallon is very tall (6′3) 

She has a very strong jawline

Elegant hands with long fingers, like a pianists

Yellow eyes that become more of a burned orange when she is actively channeling the dark side. 

General disdain for men, particularly men who think they are in power over her. 

14. Do they look up to anyone?

She admires Quinn a lot: his work ethic, his loyalty, his intelligence.

She also admires Vette’s strength of character and the fact that she will actively taunt things she is afraid of. 

23. Are they a good shoulder to cry on?

Oh yes. Fallon is a very comforting figure in you’re close enough to be crying on her shoulder. 

40. What is their moral alignment?

Fallon is absolutely lawful evil. 

50. Do they enjoy their job?

What’s not to love about traveling the galaxy putting the boot in to Imperial enemies?

Inle

6. What are their defining features?

Inle has very delicate girlish features (big eyes, long wavy hair, round cheeks with a pointy chin)

Inle is average height for a chiss (5′9)

Deceptively strong limbs. 

14.  Do they look up to anyone?

Keeper/The Minister of Intelligence literally until she discovers that he’s the one who brainwashed her.  (She just wants him to be proud of her)

Eckard Lokin for his ruthlessness and intellect (She just wants him to be proud of her) 

23.  Are they a good shoulder to cry on?

She is an incredibly awkward shoulder to cry on. Lots of awkward patting and muttering there there while she looks for an exit. 

40.  What is their moral alignment?

Inle is True Neutral and doesn’t know who she is outside of the job that is killing her. 

50.  Do they enjoy their job?

She really really tries to.

SWTOR Fanfiction

Fallon’s comm beeped in the early morning and drew her awake. She stretched beneath her black bed sheets and rolled over to press a small kiss to the point of Malavai’s shoulder before she slid out of bed and sat in front of her vanity. She brushed her hair, makeup would have to wait, and dressed. Then she left her room and walked to the holoterminal to take the call. 

The caller was an older pureblood with sharp cheekbones and black hair streaked with grey and styled out of her face. 

“Mother,” Fallon said. “What a surprise.” 

“Fallon,” her mother said sternly. “I understand you’re planning your wedding.” 

“Ah, the invitation came in,” Fallon said. “Sorry for not including you in the process, but I know how elaborate your parties can get.” 

“I looked into this fiance of yours,” Fallon’s mother said with a frown. “Human at least but not even the littlest bit Force sensitive.” 

Fallon raised one eyebarb. “Yes, I’m aware. Your point?” 

“You should at bare minimum look for a mate with a connection to the Force. It’s bad enough that you’re planning to marry outside of our species, but he won’t add anything to the bloodline.” 

Fallon’s expression sharpened. “Malavai is exacting, tenacious, clever, and loyal. These are admirable traits to pass onto my offspring and before you say anything else, I remind you that I’m the Wrath of the Empire and I can and will burn the house down around your ears if you even think of interfering with the family I am building for myself. There would be no consequences, Mother.”

Her mother gawked for a moment and then cleared her throat. “I… understand.” 

Fallon’s face cleared and she smiled warmly. “Please get your RSVP in by the end of the month so the caterer knows exactly who’s eating what. It was lovely talking to you.” 

“Yes dear, lovely seeing you too.” 

The call ended and Fallon rolled her shoulders back to stretch her chest. 

“Something the matter, my love?” Malavai said from behind her. 

Fallon turned. “I assume you heard most of that.” 

Malavai nodded. In the early morning, his defenses were down. He frowned a little. “Does it bother you at all that I can’t use the Force?” 

Fallon shook her head and crossed over to him. She tilted his face up to hers and kissed him. “I wouldn’t change anything about you, Malavai. For me, you are perfect.” 

He smiled and kissed her.

15 Day SWTOR Challenge Redux, Day 11

11. Canon divergence. Are there parts of their story that don’t line up with in-game information? Why? Where?

Fallon

The biggest variation is that Fallon is not an acolyte at the Academy at the time the story starts. She’s a lord in her own right and has arrived on Korriban with the express purpose of reclaiming Naga Sadow’s lightsaber so Baras could test her competency. 

Reynard

Reynard has a couple of changes. 

1) He’s not a padawan. Reynard is the advanced lightsaber instructor on Tython. He was recruited at age 25 from the Sith when he refused to slaughter a creche of younglings. 

2) His Master was Syo, not Yuon. This just... makes more sense with the rest of the story. 

Jacks

Until I actually write it out, Jacks’s story seems to follow canon pretty closely.

2. Family. Is your OC’s family a large part of their story? Why or why not? Are they on good terms? Are any of your characters related?

Fallon

Fallon’s biological family doesn’t feature much, her parents don’t approve of the family she’d built for herself and Fallon has threatened to use her power as the Wrath to burn the family home down around their ears if they attempt to interfere. Other than that, her family is one of the driving factors of her existence. She adopts Jaesa and Vette (Jaesa is her heir with an inheritance set aside for Vette) and she is a devoted wife to Malavai. 

In certain AUs she even adopts @inkspot-fox‘s Jedi Knight Katsulas. 

Reynard

Reynard murdered his father during the Sacking of Coruscant as part of his decision to defect. He hasn’t spoken to his mother since leaving to sack Coruscant but it can be safely assumed that she thinks he’s dead and would be furious if she learned the truth. 

Jacks

Jacks’s mother and father are very important to her, but their relationship is kind of weird. In an attempt to fit in with Republic culture, the family is fairly... performative. They love each other very much but behind closed doors there’s very much that Chiss sense of formality and in public there’s a lot more visible affection.

15 Day SWTOR Challenge Redux, Day 13

13. Alignment. Light-dark, or D&D style, or both, whatever suits you. Did you plan for them to be the way they are, or did your ideas change as you played?

Fallon

Fallon is my only properly evil character. She’d definitely dark side (just hit Dark V recently) and she’s Lawful Evil. That said, Fallon is never pointlessly cruel and she capable of pretty profound affection. She has truly earned the nickname of “murder mom” 

Reynard

Reynard is supposed to be true neutral but will probably end up leaning more light side as I trudge through the consular storyline just because he’s not generally a dick. I intend to keep him a strictly neutral as possible though, all hail the alignment toggle. 

Jacks

At conception, Jacks was going to be lawful neutral, but as I’ve played and written her, she’s gotten more good. I’d classify her as neutral good these days, being just barely light side.

4. Combat. What’s your character like in a fight? Is there anything you wish they could do in-game that isn’t an option? Favorite in-game moves? How did you decide their specialization?

Fallon

In combat, Fallon is brutal. From her appearance and manners, most combatants expect her to fight very formally, but they are mistaken. Fallon is as likely to break your arm at the elbow as she is to stab you. She makes excellent use of Force Scream and Force leap. She kicks, punches, even bites. 

Reynard

Reynard was classically trained as a Sith Assassin and its the only part of his Sith heritage that he still calls on. If it’s to defend the Republic and it’s values, what harm in a little Force lightning? He appears in the center of groups of enemies and cuts them down with ruthless efficiency. 

Jacks

Jacks is an efficient fighter: she aims for center mass, she doesn’t do anything fancy, she only rarely takes prisoners. She leaves finesse to Aric and just focuses on dealing as much damage as she can. The assault cannon is not a delicate weapon.

15 Day SWTOR Challenge Redux, Day 1

1. Prologue. Where was your OC before the class story? How’d they end up on the starter planet?

Fallon

Fallon was serving a different master. She’s in her early thirties so it doesn’t make sense for her to have been at the Academy. Shortly before Act 1 begins, Baras outmanuevered her master and usurped his power base. Act 1 officially begins with Lord Fallon landing on Korriban to make Vette show her into the tomb of Naga Sadow as Baras tests the capabilities of his new tool. 

Reynard

Reynard was living a contented existence as the advanced combat trainer on Tython. He’d been recruited into the Order at the Sacking of Coruscant when he turned on the Sith he’d been with. After serving as Master Syo’s padawan for five years, they put him in charge of advanced combat training because he’s good at it. Immediately before the class story he was leading an expedition for adegan crystals on Ilum. He landed back on Tython as the trouble starts .

Jacks

Jacks was in the Republic infantry waiting for her transfer into Special Forces to go through. She was not expecting to get Havoc Squad, but given as her godfather was at one point the leader of Havoc, she was immensely pleased.

SWTOR Fanfiction

“If your lordship will be patient,” pleaded the Moff. “I’m sure there’s a very good explanation.” 

Fallon’s expression cleared. The Moff’s incompetence had led to the loss of the battle. He had been over eager and pulled ahead to claim the big prize rather than remain in formation. Fallon had had her crew embedded on the other ships to improve communication and Vette’s ship had been shot down. Luckily, she had gotten to an escape pod and Quinn’s ship had picked her up almost immediately. 

But it left the question of what to do with the Moff. 

He was one of Ravage’s and Fallon usually stepped lightly around the Dark Council. They were both predators, content to avoid one another while they hunted. 

But Moff Ryran had lost her the battle and nearly cost her the life of Vette. 

And Fallon was particular about her Vette. 

“Patience…” she said thoughtfully. She tilted her head and her lips thinned to a frown. She curled the Force around his neck. Lightly at first and then more intensely. Ryran clawed at his throat, leaving red lines down his neck as he rose into the air. “Is not something I’m known for.” 

“Please,” he wheezed. “Forgive me.” 

“Why?” Fallon asked conversationally. “Stupidity should hurt.” 

His eyes bugged out of his skull and he started to turn purple. When she dropped him he was still. Fallon looked around for the second in command. “Clean that up,” she gestured to the corpse. “And then prepare to return to Dromund Kaas. We must regroup from this error and hit the Republic again.”

15 Day SWTOR Challenge Redux, Day 14

14. Post-Ossus. How have they changed over the course of the thirteen years? How do they feel about their past self? How would their past self feel about them now?

Fallon

Fallon, having reunited with her whole family (and Pierce, she does love Pierce) is dedicating her time to ensuring that this time the Empire comes out on top. She’s also technically an Empress, which is an improvement. She destroyed the most dangerous Sith to have ever live. Her past-self would be in awe of where Fallon stands today. Loved by the right people and feared by everyone else, Fallon’s silhouette stretches out before the galaxy. 

Reynard

The only guarantee with Reynard’s story is that sometime around Arcann’s assault on the core worlds, he gets a padawan named Esso, who is nine when they join the Alliance. When Vaylin assaults Odessen, Esso is among the casualties. The death of the child he privately thought of as a daughter, and the realization that it was the teachings of the Jedi Order that kept him from leaving his post when he felt her terror cause him him to break with the Order, and Reynard will be Sith once more. 

Jacks

Jacks enjoys working for the Alliance. She’s reunited with Aric, who she’d thought had died, and the part are discussing adopting a child. The war has certainly left enough orphans in the galaxy.

12. AUs. Do you have any alternate universes for them? What’s different? What’s the same?

Fallon

Fallon has her canon Font Of Strength which I am theoretically in the process of re-writing to accommodate new information about her character and also probably better porn. 

Her only big AU is Knives wherein she adopts @inkspot-fox‘s Jedi Knight Katsulas and sort of facilitates his fall. 

Reynard

Currently Reynard just has his canon Academic Procedure which will hit AO3 eventually. He may feature in @inkspot-fox‘s Sunspots as a background character. 

Jacks

Jacks is part of Beyond Destiny and I may someday write out her class story.

15 Day Swtor Challenge Redux, Day 10

10. Sleep. What are your OC’s sleeping habits like? Healthy? Terrible? With someone else?

Fallon

Fallon gets enough sleep and wakes up rested. She can be tetchy if she’s tired, but has enough self-control that if she snaps at someone, she was going to snap at them anyway probably. Sleeping next to Malavai was an adjustment as one of her rules was that her space was her space and it’s a rule she broke for him. Now she has trouble sleeping without him. 

Reynard

When Reynard doesn’t get enough sleep (usually because of some crisis or another) he will make up the difference in meditation and caf. He sleeps alone, always alone, even on nights he has fucked somebody. 

Jacks

Jacks is a creature of routine and that routine involves enough sleep. Being tired could lead to stupid mistakes that could get the people under her command hurt. She’s also a caf-fiend.

9. Rivalries. Who do they hate most? What’s the fastest way for someone to earn their dislike?

Fallon

Baras. Baras subsumed her Master’s power base and then tried to turn her into his hunting dog. He endangered the lives of her family. He turned Malavai against her. Threatening the stability of the family she’d created is the fastest and most profound way to earn her dislike. Disrespecting her is a close second. 

Reynard

Reynard doesn’t really do rivalries. Threatening padawans is the quickest way to earn his fury, however. 

Jacks

Like Reynard, Jacks doesn’t really do rivalries. She does however, do HVTs (High Value Targets) and the biggest of those was General Rakton. Earns a strong emotion from Jacks requires some effort. To earn her hatred you have to threaten the stability of the Republic or come after her parents, Aric or Elara.

8. Romances. A companion? An NPC? One of your OCs? Someone else’s? Nobody? Explain!

Fallon

Fallon decided she wanted to snap Quinn up shortly after meeting him. It was, initially, purely physical. He was attractive and wound to tight and she likes pushing boundaries. Unfortunately, before long Quinn had revealed himself to be exacting and tenacious, loyal and ambitious, and Fallon developed first a crush and then full blown feelings for him. She couldn’t trust  him, but she wanted to. And when he betrayed her she almost killed him and then realized that she couldn’t. She loved him too much. 

Reynard

Reynard is a Jedi and actually pretty good at being a Jedi. He doesn’t romance anyone, but he might hook up with Tharan. 

Jacks

Jacks tried really, really hard to not be into Aric around the same time that Aric was trying really, really hard to not be into her. She sort of started a romance with Jonas Balkar in hopes of squashing her feelings for Aric, but seeing him pissed off about it just sort of told her that her feelings were returned... eventually. Jacks is not the most emotionally astute trooper in the box. Eventually she and Aric actually did something about their light and mostly accidental flirtations and now they’re married.

7. Platonic relationships. Who are their closest friends? Do they have a lot, or a few? Do they trust easily, or does it take time?

Fallon

The closest person Fallon has to a friend is Pierce. They are loyal Imperials who are both quite brutish in their own ways. Fallon calls Pierce the Commander of her Legions and Pierce bows low before her. Fallon trusts with difficulty, being raised amidst Sith nobility. 

Reynard

I’m still playing through Reynard’s story, so I don’t know how he feels about anyone other than Nadia, whom he is protective of. 

Jacks

Jacks is not the easiest person to get along with. She’d very serious and duty driven and when she’s on the clock she’s a professional. She and Elara are friends but they’re not close. Probably Jacks’ closest friend was Jaxo. 

And she did what was best for the mission and let Jaxo die.
