#random strong opinion: kaminari from bnha written so shittily in every single fan content I've seen #possible reason: his canon writing is shallow and he's underdeveloped while having common/relatable character traits #which means he's very likely to get mischaracterized because he doesn't have any strong character traits #on the other hand. the way in which he's misinterpreted is so far removed from his actual self #he's not a jealous emotional dipshit he's just a guy who's dumb and makes jokes like he's very simple #but people make him deep in such a bad way and only to further other characters #like him getting mad that his two friends got together without telling him. like. he'd never react like that 😭 #he'd say 'woah whaaaaat!!! that's awesome hehehe' and then he'd make a gross joke that's it LMAO #I got really mad one time where his crush on kirishima was used as a way to make the just established kiribaku pair have some drama #like he helped both separately to get together and then suddenly he has a crush and is hurt or whatever. literally die about it #I hate how he's used for drama and not as just a friend who helped his friends 😭😭😭😭 he'd work better as a proud matchmaker #okay rant over idc if this is cringe it's just annoying to see characters used so poorly no matter who they are and how irrelevant they are
