FINALLY starting to feel a little better about christmas though i only have two things on me and one thing ordered BUT i got a list of books from my mom so i can order those when i order the cookbook for my sister in law and my mom also mentioned something my sister wants that i could get, gonna do most of the kids' shopping on friday, still need ideas for my nephew and godson though, plus i have general ideas for my dad and brother lol you guys are getting gift cards and a little something else bc you are too difficult for me to shop for ANYWAY like i am going to make progress in the coming days so it's fine

#it really is crazy how it's such a joyous time as a kid and as an adult i'm like oh my god i'm tired #i feel like one thing that makes me and my brother easier is keeping lists of cds and dvds we want (and books for me idt he reads much) #so we always have ideas to give my mom and hey if anyone else asks it's a huge list like they're welcome to it #that's how i'm gonna pick something for my brother since he sent my mom his list #and this time i asked my mom for her book list though i've taken her cd list to get the hard to find stuff off discogs or ebay before #but yeah i think especially bc a lot of the people don't want physical media taking up space that kind of stuff isn't an option #omg like my cousin's wife commented on my cousin having too many cds and like you don't need them if they're digitized #like um yeah if your hard drive crashes and you lose your whole library you want those physical copies! #and i know my sister in law has said the same thing about my brother who i do know has a TON of cds but like #again you don't wanna lose that shit #l have gotten rid of some cds recently but it's older stuff that i generally don't pick out anymore #still fun to listen to but i'm okay with just having it on itunes #anyway i love physical media
