ok also not to sound bitter but this one comment left on one of my fics has been haunting me. is it normal to like...write from the pov of a character with the intent of making the reader dislike that character? in my mind if a character is written as the pov character then the reader is supposed to at least sympathize with them a little bit.

ig like if someone told me "great writing! this makes me despise the pov character" is that weird or do people really just read like that
