#renamed him into ''yakob'' because it sounds nice and it's a simple name for a nice and simple man. that's all there is really. :-)

I like to think all "AU's" are just different life cycles. Characters die, and they are reborn in a new world, but their core appearance and identity may not even change, but, of course, no matter how they may be tethered to someone, their memories will vanish, and they'll have to rebuild what they had from square one.

These three got lucky. In the final cycle, an eternal one, they become Honour, Yakob and Sir/Sire, each immortal in a different way.

Honour retained all the memories from her past lives for once, so the second she popped into existence as some weird out-of-bounds entity, she was already kind of. Drained. Just from the memories of how many time their two most cherished beings in the world died. They tried being a bit more secretive about everything to avoid overwhelming the other two with information,

But it just resulted in Sir, an ethereal guardian of humanity made to defeat demons, misinterpreting her actions and behaviour in the worst way possible. Honour just came off as some weird cryptic Devil here to wreck shop.

Sire still means well, he was originally just me going "What if Shilo was in Twinsomnia's canon?", so the desire to protect humanity is strong with this one. Upon meeting Yakob, a runaway robot-automaton-construct-whatever that was literally indestructible, they became the metal man's first friend and guide to the new world.

They're both the same kind-hearted dorks as they were in the past, and they stuck together, trying to uncover whatever the Hell was Honour's secret evil plot. Of course, there was no evil plot, but she was happy that at least those two reunited, and quickly returned to the kind of dynamic only she'd remember.

Thankfully, after some shenanigans, they do ens up figuring their shit out, Sir and Yakob also get the past memories back, so now they're vibing as a nice little reassembled polycule of immortals. Good for them!
