why is the cazador boss fight such a nightmare its been 84 years (possibly seven attempts now) and that bastard keeps winning

#im doing everything right! im misty stepping over to sweet astarion to get his ass down from there #but lets be clear #by the time im in range to misty step im choked with bad guys so they just rip my face off trying to misty step #shart can't survive more than 30 seconds #wyll's counter-spells are great! all three of them #and 'oooh just use daylight' turns out my game is bugged so cazador takes zero damage from daylight #and then he hits astarion with his staff five times in a row and astarion dies #brought karlach originally but she's also. useless because she gets ganged up on by baddies too #why are there so many fucking bats did cazador train these bats just to fuck with people specifically #hell i even put it on easy mode and all it did was give me MORE health points to lose #all i want is for this boss battle to be OVER #and ive come too far and spent too much money on arrows to give up now #(should i bring gale. should it be gale and wyll doing big spells from the back as astarion and tav knife their way through the front lines
