#someone from my school on instagram just posted about how many 'performative activists' they're seeing and 'how they hate all of them' and #sir we're a bunch of teenagers whose ability to do anything is largely moderated by our conservative parents #reposting information on social media is the only thing we can do at this point #and like... who are you to judge if someone's 'activism' is performative? how do you know they haven't donated in some way?
