When will my yeast wake up from being in the fridge overnight and make my caramel pecan rolls big and fluffy so I can put them in the oven and have my tasty new year's breakfast 🥺

#the recipe was like ''you can put rolls in the fridge at this step and then take them out to prove for two hours the next morning'' #and i was like ''two hours? psh they only need half an hour if i dont put them in the fridge thats an overestimation'' #folks it Was Not #i did not account for how eepy sleepy the yeast would be from being cold #i got impatient tho and did stick the tray in the preheating oven for a couple minutes #so the pan they're in is warm and not sapping all the proving warmth away from my yeast #and i think that helped the rolls are actually growing now #but i just want my warm delicious caramel pecan rolls *now*
