I don't have any big Ultrakill headcanons, but one I do sorta have is that V1 actually composes all the in-game music himself made from things he has in his databases, and uses what he sees in the area he's in to arrange those sounds into the music tracks
YES I LOVE THAT HEADCANON!! like i do understand it's supposed to be pretty ambiguous what v1 actually thinks/feels (if it does at all - as much as i obviously love v1 having a shocking amount of depth, i think it's very interesting from a canon perspective to consider it really is just a machine), i very much enjoy the idea of it being a composer who tailor makes the sound of its environment based on what it sees, what it learns, and who it meets. this is how it perceives its world and how it makes sense of it in a way, its internal communication made entirely of the music it creates for the whole of hell. considering how much of the mechanics are diegetic as well - the cybergrind, the locking doors, the spawning enemies all actually receiving in-universe explanation - i think v1 crafting the ost isn't too out of the question

Breakcore Research
I decided to look into Breakcore because I realised that the Ultrakill OST is Breakcore. I decided to look into Yakui The Maid.
Tumblr media
The first song I listened to by them I really liked, the song is called Abnormality and it was a collaboration with Kichi. I listened to Futility,  Scourge and Grendel aswell. I like Grendel it seems like it sort of feels like its what id like to have in my game.
Tumblr media
I looked a bit into Kichi because I wanted to know if they did the guitars and it seems like they did, I liked some of their songs like skǝw, This Is My Goodbye, 1997x - Fall and  Amorphous Anathema.
Amorphous Anathema 10 seconds into the song it reminds me of a song from Ultrakill for the Cybergrind, with the really fast drums.
