as a survivor of being groomed as a child, sexual abused as a child, physically abused as a child, and mentally abused as a child it is so fucking despicable that so many of yall are so hell bent on trying to figure out the details, exact dates, and who in the band knew what rather than bringing justice to the victims. it hurts because that was me. it hurts because i know what these kids feel and how much they’re hurting. i don’t say this to garner pitty. I’m not really apart of this fan community but someone I know told me to post here cause I don’t want to post on my mains. I know the guys who are in Mac Saturn currently though I don’t work with them anymore i have been a fly on the wall for some of their past conversations around PR crisis. First let me say it’s insane that a small, just now becoming national band even HAS PR crisis already should tell you something. They have been well aware that there were ped0, grooming rumors about them for a while now. Austin and Zeke watch social media for the rumors about them. I wasn’t around when the Evan stuff was going on but I 1000% believe that they would have heard “child abuse” “ped0” “groomer” allegations and chose not to address them because there were already rumors like that out there about Carson, and they would never tackle them head on and really confront him about it. Austin and Carson are very close friends from childhood. They probably figured they were (almost) all already hooking up with barely legal girls and that’s not technically illegal, so who cares right? (NOT SAYING THATS CORRECT I’m saying that’s their thought process.) They didn’t really have group conversations about those rumors and Austin would mainly talk about how to get people to stop spreading them.

The story out there about not being allowed to bring people backstage on their fall tour with the struts because someone got caught with an underage girl backstage is true.

I did not used to think every person in this band was a bad person, and I actually thought some rumors out there (especially the ones popular to this fan base…you know which) were fan-fueled nonsense. All of that pales in comparison to them knowing about actual child abuse investigations for one of their members since the fall. I’m fully done with them.

Oh and Angelo fully did out Josh Kiszka and Carson and Austin went on and told everyone in the band’s friend group and beyond for years.

Mac Saturn also had their backstage privileges revoked when they were on tour with the Struts last year because the Struts manager saw them bringing minors backstage. The lead singer of Mac Saturn is also dating a fresh 18 year old. There’s been disgusting allegations against their manager Austin for a while, about him sharing women’s nudes and being an overall drunken creep with young girls. Now they’ve kept a pedophile in the band for months when they most likely knew SOMETHING was up. The whole bad is full of disgusting men. Cancel them all.

On Mac Saturn’s 2nd most recent IG post about their album cover/release. Brad Rude is a local artist from our area who is familiar with the situation and states that he was notified of the investigation and let other members of MS know about the investigation in November. So they knew. bradrudebass is his handle if you wanna search the comments. So more info is definitely trickling out of the woodworks. Still hasn’t even been a full 24 hours yet. I’m curious to see what happens at their show tonight.

The whole thing about jive putting out a better statement than the entirety of the fucking band had me thinking. I wasn’t around for the stalker situation, but I have seen some of the screen caps. I know everyone is pissed at jive for giving personal information to a stalker, but I can’t help but wonder if he was manipulated into revealing those things. Not that he was fully innocent, but that he thought he was talking candidly to a person who was engaging genuinely with him. Maybe I’m projecting, because I’ve been the person that was used as a conduit to somebody who was higher profile, and it really hurts to realize you’ve been used. I’m just saying, from what I saw, it looks like he was just being a bit braggy about being friends with a famous musician and gave too much info away. Then because it’s Daniel, the highest profile musician they have access to, the band kicks jive out and lets everyone run wild saying he’s this terrible person. But then they go and protect a pedophile? I’m not trying to defend anyone’s actions, I’m just spitballing here. Any context you could add would really be appreciated.

I think you're spot on.  -Only everyone seems to forget that all of that was taken out of context by Anna's jealous friends to make her out to look like a stalker when she's really not. So Jive didnt do anything wrong, he was just candidly talking and joking with a friend. Anna betrayed him and that sucks, but theyre not friends anymore. He is a good person and didnt deserve any of this. He clearly didnt belong with that trashy band anyway. Mac didnt care about what happened, they were only concerned it would hurt they're chances to open for Greta one day. That's why they didnt cancel the Detroit show - the Kiszkas and Danny were there.

The mental gymnastics in that bottom paragraph is something to behold.

i can't find anything about their label, but this is the website for their management. they're not on their list of artists/clients anymore and you get an error page when you click on the link to their album release announcement from google
