Durge thought/question:

If Durge was always meant to produce more bhaalspawn the "natural" way, what reason would Bhaal have for creating a Durge with a womb? Having to carry every pregnancy themselves sounds incredibly inefficient (and risky!) compared to just spreading their seed around as much as possible, letting others deal with all the hard work and risk.

That way they can just go about their business as usual, don't even have to raise the kid if they don't want to, just pick 'em up from murder practice when they're done cooking.
